Privacy Policy

What Clincy collects on this marketing site, which analytics vendors are used, how patient data is handled in the product, and how to request deletion.

Last updated 2026-09-07.

This policy covers heyclincy.com, the marketing site. Patient data handled inside the Clincy product for a specific dental practice is governed by the agreement between that practice and Clinsight, not by this page.

What this site collects

This site has no accounts, no login, and no forms. It collects analytics about how pages are used:

  • PostHog (self-hosted proxy at t.heyclincy.com) records page views, clicks, scroll depth, web vitals, and session replays. Replays mask all form input by default. PostHog sets first party cookies to recognise a returning browser.
  • Google Analytics 4 records page views and referrers through gtag.js, and sets its own cookies.
  • Cloudflare, which serves the site, processes request metadata including IP address for delivery, caching, and abuse prevention.

We do not collect names, email addresses, or any health information on this site, because there is nothing here that asks for them. Booking a call happens on cal.com, which is a separate service with its own privacy policy.

Why we collect it

Analytics tells us which pages people actually read and where they give up. That is the only use. We do not sell this data, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not build audience segments from it.

Your choices

Analytics only runs on the production domain. Browser level controls apply as normal: blocking third party scripts, using a content blocker, or enabling Global Privacy Control will stop most or all of this collection. To have any data we hold about your visits deleted, email team@clinsight.ai with "privacy" in the subject line and describe the request. We will act on it within thirty days.

Patient data in the product

Where Clincy is deployed at a practice, the design goal is to hold as little as possible: collect the intake fields the practice asked for, write them into that practice's management system, and avoid becoming a second permanent copy of the patient record. Retention, business associate agreements, and breach notification are settled in the contract with each practice before any live patient is contacted. If you are a patient who received a call or text and want to know what was recorded, contact the dental practice that scheduled you, since they control the record.

Changes and contact

Material changes to this policy will be reflected in the "last updated" date above. Questions go to team@clinsight.ai, or to Clinsight at https://clinsight.ai.

Clincy handles new-patient intake end to end, so your front desk can stay with the patients in the room.
